NEW YORK, NY - Nashville SC unveiled their 2020 away jersey on Wednesday night as part of Major League Soccer's #FORWARD25 campaign.
The "Nashville Vibe" kit is all dark, with the "acoustic blue" leaning towards purple and trimmed with "electric gold". From the club release:
"Considered a place that’s proud but unpretentious, both home and away jerseys capture Nashvillians’ civic pride and authenticity in the Tennessee Tri-Star flag on the jock tag. Discontinued parallel lines embellish the bottom of both kits celebrating Nashville as a stage for all voices who come together to inspire the world into creating greatness through diversity and collaboration."
Nashville-based singer/songwriter/guitarist Lindsay Ell represented the expansion side at New York Fashion week, showcasing the newly released kit.
The away kit is a features three stripes on the right shoulder, a design that each MLS club uses on one of their kits this season to celebrate the league's 25th season. It's a strong contrast to the yellow home kit, but both feature Nashville SC's inaugural season tag on the bottom left corner.
Nashville SC kick off their debut season on February 29, 2020, taking on Atlanta United at Nissan Stadium.
