Nashville SC To Host FIFA eCup

NASHVILLE, TN - Nashville Soccer Club announced Friday that the club will host an eSports FIFA20 tournament on Thursday, May 7, as part of MLS Unites. Fans will compete against each other to win the title of "ultimate NSC eCup Champion", as well as to take home a prize pack of Nashville SC merch.

Presented by Hyundai, the tournament will be played on the Xbox One console, with the winner claiming a replica away jersey and two tickets to a Nashville SC match whenever play resumes.

The tournament is free to enter and will be limited to the first 64 competitors to sign up. Full rules below from the press release:

• Match must be a Kick-Off Match

• Any available default team in EA SPORTS™ FIFA 20 is usable for tournament play

• No custom teams

• Standard settings

• No legacy defending

• No custom formations

• 12-minute games (six-minute halves)

• Game speed: Normal

• Difficulty: Legendary

• Injuries: Off

• All matches will be 1v1

• Single game elimination

• Competitors must be 18 years of age or older

NOTE: I'll be playing in this tournament. Watch for BravoWhiskee755 to control possession but struggle to create chances, ultimately leading to an early exit.
