Week 11 Power Rankings

This method of ranking team performance factors in point per game, strength of schedule, and goal difference. This isn't an attempt to predict the final table, but rather a way to measure a team's form.

EASTERN CONFERENCE

  1. Tampa Bay Rowdies (↑1): A solid 2-0 win at home over NYRBII moves them into the top spot.

  2. NYRB II (↓1): Drop a spot after a loss in Tampa.

  3. Nashville SC (↔): Lose points after a home draw against Charlotte, but had enough cushion to stay in 3rd.

  4. Indy Eleven (↑3): Break into the top 4 for the first time this season with a home win against Charleston Battery.

  5. Saint Louis FC (↓1): Held to a 0-0 draw in Louisville.

  6. North Carolina FC (↓1): Drew 0-0 at home to Birmingham Legion.

  7. Ottawa Fury FC (↑1): Making a push to be included in the upper echelon in the East. Went to Bethlehem and convinced in a 3-0 win.

  8. Charleston Battery (↓2): Lost 1-0 in Indianapolis.

  9. Pittsburgh Riverhounds (↔): No game this week.

  10. Louisville City FC (↔): Held on for a 0-0 home draw against Saint Louis in front of nearly 10,000 fans. A good performance, but they were far enough back that it can't get them out of 10th.

  11. Bethlehem Steel (↑1): Lost 3-0 at home to Ottawa, but move up a spot as teams around them dropped points as well.

  12. Loudoun United FC (↓1): Lost at home to Hartford, who have been far and away the worst side in the East this season.

  13. Birmingham Legion FC (↑3): Went to North Carolina and came home with a point.

  14. Atlanta United 2 (↓1): Held to a draw away to Swope Park.

  15. Charlotte Independence (↔): Got a solid point in Nashville, but it wasn't enough to get out of 15th.

  16. Memphis 901 FC (↑1): No game this week.

  17. Swope Park Rangers (↓3): Drew 1-1 at home with a fairly average Atlanta side.

  18. Hartford Athletic (↔): Got their first ever win away to Loudon United. Still by themselves at the bottom, but they could end up being better than they've looked so far.

WESTERN CONFERENCE

  1. New Mexico United (↔): The top scoring side in all USL picked up a 3-1 win in Colorado.

  2. Phoenix Rising FC (↑5): Got a 4-0 win against Las Vegas to shoot up to second.

  3. Fresno FC (↓1): No game this week.

  4. Portland Timbers 2 (↔): No game this week.

  5. Reno 1868 FC (↓2): Drop two spots after drawing 1-1 away to a terrible Tacoma side.

  6. El Paso Locomotive FC (↑7): This weeks' big movers after a 3-1 win against Sacramento.

  7. Tulsa Roughnecks FC (↓1): Drew 1-1 in San Antonio.

  8. Austin Bold FC (↔): Drew 2-2 away to Orange County.

  9. Orange County SC (↑1): Move up a spot after drawing Austin.

  10. Real Monarchs SLC (↑1): Drew 1-1 in Oklahoma City.

  11. Rio Grande Valley FC (↑1): Drew 2-2 with Los Dos.

  12. Las Vegas Lights FC (↓5): Drop five spots after getting thrashed by Phoenix.

  13. Sacramento Republic FC (↓4): A 3-1 loss against El Paso sends them crashing down to 13th.

  14. OKC Energy (↔): Drew 1-1 with Real Monarchs.

  15. San Antonio FC (↔): Drew 1-1 with Tulsa.

  16. LA Galaxy II (↔): Drew 2-2 with RGV Toros

  17. CS Switchbacks FC (↔): Beaten at home 3-1 by New Mexico.

  18. Tacoma Defiance (↔): Picked up a point at home against Reno, but still in a class of their own at the bottom.

The above power rankings are a look at current form. These projected tables are simply based on points per game at home and away. These will fluctuate a lot week-to-week.
