Week 13 Power Rankings

This method of ranking team performance factors in point per game, strength of schedule, and goal difference. This isn't an attempt to predict the final table, but rather a way to measure a team's form.


  1. Tampa Bay Rowdies (↔): Went to Birmingham and came away with a 2-0 win. In a class all their own.

  2. NYRB II (↔): Beat Bethlehem by four goals to stay in touching distance of Tampa Bay.

  3. Indy Eleven (↑1): Beat Pittsburgh 2-1 at home to push into the top three.

  4. Nashville SC (↓1): No game this week.

  5. North Carolina FC (↔): Lose points after a 1-1 draw in Hartford, but hang onto 5th place.

  6. Ottawa Fury FC (↑2): Smacked Charlotte 4-1 to move up two spots.

  7. Saint Louis FC (↓1): Saw another game postponed due to weather. They've now only played 10 matches, so they can make up ground.

  8. Louisville City FC (↑2): Move up two spots after a heated 4-1 win over a good Charleston Battery side.

  9. Charleston Battery (↓2): After their midweek Open Cup win over Nashville, they went to Louisville and lost 4-1 in a match that had three red cards.

  10. Pittsburgh Riverhounds (↓1): Lost 2-1 in Indy.

  11. Atlanta United 2 (↑1): No game this week.

  12. Loudoun United FC (↑1): No game this week.

  13. Birmingham Legion FC (↑1): Lost at home to Tampa Bay.

  14. Bethlehem Steel (↓3): Crushed on the road in New York and drop three spots.

  15. Memphis 901 FC (↑1): No game this week.

  16. Charlotte Independence (↓1): Beaten badly in Ottawa.

  17. Swope Park Rangers (↔): No game this week.

  18. Hartford Athletic (↔): Gained points after a 1-1 draw in North Carolina, but still firmly isolated in 18th.


  1. New Mexico United (↔): No game this week.

  2. Phoenix Rising FC (↔): No game this week.

  3. Reno 1868 FC (↑3): Move up three spots after a 4-0 win over Las Vegas.

  4. Portland Timbers 2 (↔): Beat Real Monarchs 2-1.

  5. Fresno FC (↓2): Lost to Colorado Springs and drop two points.

  6. El Paso Locomotive FC (↓1): Drop a spot after a really tight win over Tacoma.

  7. Orange County SC (↑2): Beat RGV Toros to move up two spots.

  8. Tulsa Roughnecks FC (↓1): Lost at home to Austin.

  9. Austin Bold FC (↑3): Went to Tulsa and came away with a 3-2 win.

  10. Rio Grande Valley FC (↓2): Lost to 10-man Orange County and drop two spots.

  11. Sacramento Republic FC (↑2): They've had a really disappointing start to the season, but move up two spots after a 2-1 win over San Antonio.

  12. Real Monarchs SLC (↓1): Lost midweek to Portland.

  13. OKC Energy (↑1): Drew 0-0 with a struggling LA Galaxy II side.

  14. Las Vegas Lights FC (↓4): Drop four spots after getting smashed 4-0 by Reno.

  15. LA Galaxy II (↔): Drew Tacoma midweek and OKC Energy on the weekend. Not a great week for Los Dos.

  16. San Antonio FC (↔): Lost 2-1 to Sacramento.

  17. CS Switchbacks FC (↔): Not quite as poor as Tacoma, but still poor, despite a 1-0 win over Fresno.

  18. Tacoma Defiance (↔): Drew with LA Galaxy II and lost to El Paso. Their -27 goal difference is the worst in USL by nine goals.


The above power rankings are a look at current form. These projected tables are simply based on points per game at home and away. These will fluctuate a lot week-to-week.
