Week 18 Power Rankings

This method of ranking team performance factors in point per game, strength of schedule, and goal difference. This isn't an attempt to predict the final table, but rather a way to measure a team's form.

  1. Tampa Bay Rowdies (↔): Beat Swope Park 3-1 on the road to strengthen their lead on the top.

  2. Indy Eleven (↔): No match this week.

  3. NYRB II (↔): Drew at home against Ottawa, despite playing a man up for nearly 70 minutes.

  4. North Carolina FC (↔): Drew 1-1 at home with Charlotte Independence.

  5. Nashville SC (↔): Dropped points on the road for the second week in a row, losing 2-1 in Louisville. Their record against teams in playoff position is abysmal.

  6. Pittsburgh Riverhounds (↔): Didn't score as much as they have lately, but got another win, beating Bethlehem 1-0.

  7. Ottawa Fury FC (↔): Went down a man in the 24th minute, but hung on for a draw in New York.

  10. Saint Louis FC (↔): Drew 1-1 with Loudoun. They're getting close to dropping out of the top 10.

  11. Loudoun United FC (↔): Pulled off a 2-2 draw in Saint Louis. Don't bet against them making the playoffs. They've played the fewest matches in the conference and have a home-heavy schedule to close out the season.

  12. Charlotte Independence (↑1): Move up a spot after a draw on the road against a highly-ranked North Carolina side.

  13. Bethlehem Steel (↓1): Drop a spot after losing to Pittsburgh.

  14. Memphis 901 FC (↔): Got their first home win of the season, blowing out Hartford 4-1.

  16. Atlanta United 2 (↔): No match this week after their game was postponed due to weather.

  17. Birmingham Legion FC (↔): No match this week.

  18. Hartford Athletic (↔): After a bit of a resurgence, they've regressed to the team they were at the start of the year. They haven't won in their last four matches, in which they've conceded 12 goals.

  1. Phoenix Rising FC (↔): No match this week, but still comfortably ahead of the pack.

  2. Fresno FC (↔): Beat Sacramento 1-0 in a heated match to hold onto second place.

  11. OKC Energy (↑1): Move up a spot after a 1-1 draw with a good El Paso side.

  13. Orange County SC (↔): Won 2-1 on the road in Colorado.

  14. Rio Grande Valley FC (↓3): Drop three spots after getting blown out 4-0 by Reno and drawing with Tacoma. Not a great week.

  15. LA Galaxy II (↔): Drew 2-2 with Las Vegas.

  16. Tulsa Roughnecks FC (↔): Came close to pulling off a late win over Portland, but lost their composure in stoppage time.

  17. CS Switchbacks FC (↔): Lost to Orange County at home.
